Healing Lives has been supporting our drought-resilient farming initiatives in Tikamgarh, Bundelkhand. 

 

 

Hidden Gems is a non profit based in NJ and they are a group of musicians that perform live music shows and for the past few years they have donated proceeds to SIF through raised through their fundraising.

Maharashtra Foundation supported our Adopt-A-Widow project in Beed, Washim and other districts in Maharashtra. They also supported our Project Jal (Borewell Recharge) in Beed, Maharashtra.

Mahindra & Mahindra is our corporate sponsor for project Udaan. They provided funding for the tablets (with educational apps) distributed in Washin and Beed districts of Maharashtra.

 

ANKUSH is helping us setting up mobile veterinary clinics for better health for cattle. They have funded a Mobile Veterinary Clinic dedicated to conserving indigenous cattle in Andhra Pradesh, India.

Our On the Ground Partners

Parmarth has been working with us largely in the Bundhelkhand area. They have executed various projects in multiple focus areas (water conservation, education, women’s health, organic farming).

Sankalp is our primary implementation partners for Project Jal. Their major areas of work with us include rain water harvesting through borewell recharge in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh (Ananthpur), Madhya Pradesh (Sheopur) and Tamil Nadu.

Pratham provided the educational apps that children use as part of Project Udaan.

 

We invest in women farmers becoming self-reliant through Rang De’s microcredit loans. We have so far helped women in Manipur, Telengana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa and Uttar Pradesh.

We are partnering with Paani Foundation on the Water Cup contest to promote and implement water conservation projects in Maharashtra.

 

 

 

 

The volunteers of Vivekanand Seva Mandal helped us install and maintain the educational Android apps developed by Pratham for Project Udaan.

 

 

 

Rural Reconstruction and Development Society identified and helped us support widows of farmer suicides in Andhra Pradesh.

MS Swaminathan’s Research Foundation shared with us their video content on soil testing, organic fertilizers and organic pesticides. We dubbed these in Marathi for use in the Android tablets distributed for rural education in Project Udaan.

We work with the Ambajogai extension center of Jnana Prabodhini to implement rain water harvesting projects in Beed district, Maharashtra.

Deendayal Bahuuddeshiya Prasarak Mandal was our local partner in Maharashtra when we began our first project – restoring the Pathari reservoir and canal. They have since worked on adopt-a-widow efforts, Borisinh village project and project Udaan.

REDS is our on-the-ground partner for the adopt-a-widow project in Andhra Pradesh and Telengana. They are also working on implementing borewell recharges in Andhra Pradesh.

Unltd Hyderabad, an incubator for social entrepreneurs in Andhra Pradesh and Telengana, is our monitoring partner for adopt-a-widow efforts in these states.

Manavlok is one of our implementation partners for Project Jal in Beed, Maharashtra and Project Hydroponics in Parbhani, Maharashtra. They also work in the areas of watershed development, rain water harvesting, micro-irrigation, farming, health, education and women’s empowerment.

 

 

People’s Institute of Rural Development is our implementation partner in Latur, Maharashtra for the Hydroponics project.

 

 

 

Digital Green provided videos on organic farming that we used in Project Udaan to spread awareness and in Project Saangaati as a pilot experience for organic cultivation.

 

Uttaranchal Association of North America (UANA) Foundation and Save Indian Farmers(SIF) have partnered for multiple initiatives across Pauri Region of Uttarakhand.
