Sustainable Agriculture
The sustainable agriculture initiative focuses on on raising awareness, education and promoting eco friendly tools and techniques to reduce capital costs, increase productivity and profits, and improve soil quality.
Opening banks of indigenous seeds, promoting organic farming techniques, promoting hardy and alternate crops like drumsticks, promoting inter-cropping techniques, community kitchen gardens, promoting fruit and vegetables cultivation and hydroponics are just some of the activities conducted as part of our Sustainable agriculture initiative.
Water Conservation
Our water conservation initiative focuses on various watershed management techniques such as bore-well recharge, canal repairs, wells, reservoir de-silting, digging trenches etc to make irrigation water available year round to farmers in drought affected areas of India.
Micro-financing
The Micro-financing initiative focuses on making micro loans available to the poorest of the poor as a significantly low interest rate, especially to women farmers and entrepreneurs so they can supplement their agricultural incomes and live a better life.
Through our partner Randg-De, we offer micro loans to poor and needy women farmers across India.
Counselling and Livelihood Management
The main objective of this counselling and livelihood management is to provide counselling services to farmers and their families in distress and empower them to earn a better livelihood by helping them avail various government schemes and by adopting better farming techniques.
Adopting widows of farmers that committed suicides and helping them earn a sustainable livelihood , counselling farmers and their families through our Kisan Mitra hotline are some of our projects under this initiative
Rural Education
Through our rural education initiatives, we aim to leverage digital media to make education accessible to not just kids in rural India but also to the women and farming communities where they learn about health, hygiene, nutrition, better farming techniques and financial literacy.
Making use of technology, we try to bring education to the doorsteps of the farming community through this initiative. Educational videos related to water conservation, organic farming, inter cropping, and many others are pre-loaded on to Tablets and provided to villagers who watch, learn and are encouraged to implement them.
Rural Health Management
Our rural health management initiative focuses on making primary health care easily accessible to people as well as livestock in economically backward farming community.
Bringing primary healthcare to remote villages of India by holding health camps, providing care for livestock through mobile clinics and distributing nutrition supplements and medicines are just some of our activities under this initiative
